Asian Regional Meeting (ARM) is one of International Forestry Students' Association - IFSA’s statutory meetings which is held annually in countries of Asia by its members. As an intensive one week program ARM provides an opportunity for forestry students' all around Asia to broaden, enrich, and share new knowledge and experience; exchange and create breakthroughs; and strengthen bonds between Asia students.
This year IFSA LC UGM has been elected to organize the third ARM. More than 50 forestry students from all around Asia will have the chance to experience the beauty of Indonesia as the host of this inspiring meeting.
The theme for the third ARM is“Enhancing Management Effectiveness Protected Area through the Role of Stakeholder”. We would like to inform how the conservation area is managed in Indonesia and also broaden knowledge about the opportunities of collaborative management of conservation areas through the role of stakeholders. There will be 5 main activities in thethird ARM that are:

2. Lecture Forum
3. IFSA forum and Model GA
4. Field Trip
5. International Night

We are extend the registration dates until March, 26 with maximum of 3 persons per LC. Other interested students from othe institutions (not from IFSA) also allowed join this meeting with a maximum 3 person per Institution.
1. Participants are required to make a paper presentation to be presented when ARM takes place.
2. Each team consist 1-4 who will represent their LC or Institution.
3. Our main theme for this ARM is "Enhancing Management Effectiveness of Protection Area
through the Role of Stakeholder", we give you some sub-themes that you can choose or everything
that related to the main theme.
sub-themes :
a. Protected Areas in Your Country
b. Forest and Stakeholder in Your Country
c. Forest Policy in Your Country
d. Conservation efforts in your country.
4. Please submit your abstract via email no later than April, 2. Maximum words for abstract
is 350 words.
5. The time for paper presentation for each paper is 20 minutes (approx. 12mins presentation session
and 8 mins discussion session)
